Multiplicity 2.0 enables up to nine PCs to be controlled with only one keyboard and mouse. With capabilities far beyond what is possible with a physical KVM switch, Multiplicity’s features include the ability to seamlessly drag and drop of large files between PCs, copy and paste formatted content across multiple PCs, and the ability to send the audio from all PCs to one PC and a set of speakers. The new Multiplicity 2.0 security features enable sensitive information to be entered and securely moved between PCs which can be a priority for financial, medical and call center operations.

Multiplicity is ideal for anyone who needs to control multiple PCs with a seamless workflow. It’s easy to setup, secure and backed by Stardock’s support team.

I like to think it's what Hugh Jackman was using in Swordfish:

I ain't on nothing. MP Pro gave me trouble. MP 2 is ok but I can get most of that for free. Why do I want to spend 30 bux to upgrade to MP2?10, maybe. Not 30.

Because it is a really very good product that obviously took a lot of work which needs to be recouped from a niche market. If you feel you don't need it don't buy it.

It's a fair price for a good product.

Mouse Without Borders...by Microsoft Garage. But it can't handle 9 PCs, six I think. And it has no Acoustic Bridge. Not quite as easy to setup either.

The drag & drop in that product isn't the same as the Multiplicity one.  Last time I checked it could only handle dragging one file (no folders) between computers and it placed it in a folder on the desktop rather than where you dragged it which is far less useful.

This is true. MWOB is in no way even close to the paid version of MP2.

Neil, if drag and drop isn't available in the free version, why do I see 2 instances of it running in my task manager?

Also, why do I seem to have build 27 and everyone else has 28?

Jim, if you have build 27 you can just let SDC do its thang.
It's build 28.

I installed the reported update from SDC last night, and it's gone now - and I have build 28 now.
