This cursor would either crash CXP or the cursors would revert back to Windows default. How about a fix, Skincreator? Please fix your mouse cursor too. Both are cute and I'd like to use them.

These are great but unfortunately they did not work on my system. If you could fix them then I would really like to use them since I think they are one of the best designs of all the cursors at this site. And again great art work.

Worked for me, but immediately caused Windows Explorer to crash (had to restart application). Difficult to use for precision work and I would therefore like to see one with a sharp point.
Thanks

Here's the problem....it was in another thread, but I'll post it here so CursorXP authors can start sharing this....

[General]
Version=130
[Arrow]
StdCursor=0
Frames=8
Interval=100
Animation style=0
Hot spot x=9
Hot spot y=9
Hot spot x2=13
Hot spot y2=13
FrameScript=0
[Help]
StdCursor=0
Frames=4
Interval=100
Animation style=0
Hot spot x=9
Hot spot y=9
Hot spot x2=13
Hot spot y2=13
FrameScript=0
[AppStarting]
StdCursor=0
Frames=8
Interval=100
Animation style=0
Hot spot x=9
Hot spot y=9
Hot spot x2=13
Hot spot y2=13
FrameScript=0

Everything is all crammed together. For some reason, CursorXP hacks up a furball when trying to read the .ini file when it's like this. Now....if you edit the .ini file, it "should" work fine. Sometimes the .cursorxp package needs to be installed thru CursorXP, sometimes it works only when you double click the package....and then, sometimes it only works if you use Theme Manager. But when it all fails, typically editing the .ini file like this, works:

[General]
Version=130

[Arrow]
StdCursor=0
Frames=8
Interval=100
Animation style=0
Hot spot x=9
Hot spot y=9
Hot spot x2=13
Hot spot y2=13
FrameScript=0

[Help]
StdCursor=0
Frames=4
Interval=100
Animation style=0
Hot spot x=9
Hot spot y=9
Hot spot x2=13
Hot spot y2=13
FrameScript=0

[AppStarting]
StdCursor=0
Frames=8
Interval=100
Animation style=0
Hot spot x=9
Hot spot y=9
Hot spot x2=13
Hot spot y2=13
FrameScript=0

Putting spaces where I have shown thru all sections of the .ini file seemed to do the trick.

For CursorXP authors, double checking to see that you wrote the ini file correctly, should prevent people from having CXP crash horribly.

Works fine for me under Vista. I only wish the tip was a little more pointed.
