When Dreamscene was first announced, I recall speculating with a co-worker, describing something like this as the perfect implementation for me. Of course, I'd really like to see it on a scale usable on my 4-monitor desktop, but my graphics card couldn't handle anything at that resolution anyway.
That said, there are a few things that would make this even better (and something I would pay $20 for instead of just 5):
· Shifting nebulae/star field - Frankly, the twinkling of the random star doesn't make a wallpaper very special, and unless they are intended to be Quasars, it isn't very realistic - a subtle shifting of the starfield (and even cooler - the nebula) would be FAR more impressive (though admittedly no more realistic)
· Orbiting moons - The moon on the standard colored one is cool, but a gradual orbiting around the planet in the corner would be a MILLION times cooler
· Planetary rings - Of course, at this scale it would look more like an asteroid belt than rings per se, but hundreds of small rocks in the orbit of the planet, rotating as slowly as the planet itself - would be friggin' AWESOME

Stunning. I didn't buy the previous premium dream but I bought this one!
The only thing that would make it better is if they offered a 4:3 version for all of us that do not have a wide-screen monitor.

I just purchased these. They are both nice, but not excellent to me and I am not taking away from the great effort. But the little moon doesn't belong there, its just too fake looking. Other than that, and thats just my personal preference, they are both good quality.

Just bought these and I'm impressed thus far. My only complaint is that I'm running these on a 19-inch CRT (4:3), and the moon in Dryscape looks horribly out of shape. That being said I just swapped over to Forever Frost (the second one included) and things look amazing.
Although I'm not going to hold my breath or waste anyone's time by complaining, a 4:3 version would be nice.

I concur; it would look better if it were a rocky moon. (Though that would no doubt be a more complicated effort.)

Have you tried setting the properties of the display in Windows to show full screen with cropping (far right option at the bottom of the screen...)?

Has there been any luck getting these things into a time bombed version or something? I, as I sure many users are, am not willing to sit here and buy every single master skin without seeing it first. I know the comments are great and all, but not every one agrees on what is and is not a "great" dream. Other than your label as a "Master skin" we have no way of knowing just how good it is.

I think every one here will agree with me when i say that the little 1.5 inch video preview does not do any dream justice. Esspecially when you are talking about taking it and putting it on a 20 inch pluss screen.
I mean all it would really take is for them to make a version of the dream that does not loop, or loops to a screen that says "buy this dream at wincustomize.com" and then stays there instead of going back to the dream. It does not even have to be timed bombed. You can easily do this so that we can see what it will be like while still making it useless without actually buying it. but that little video does not cut it. Not if you want me to shell out 5 bucks for it. I dont mind paying, but as good old William Shatner said "compare before you buy" well i want to compare this to other dreams on my computer before I buy.

For those of you who are wanting a 4:3 version, simply set the display "mode" to "crop" at the bottom of the Set Background Wallpaper dialog box. Essentially, this is what they would have to do anyway (chop the sides off). Try it out to see if it works for you.

Great Dream!!! The moon might look more real if it had the same axis of rotation as the larger planet....Excellent work though....

Im not saying great dreams arent worth payin for. But what about this dream makes it worth paying for. I bought it, and it doesnt seem to be anything special. Heck, in the main one, the one planet rotates while the other doesnt, which just makes it look amatuer. I dont get it, what makes this one so special?
