You would need quite a system to properly run all that and still beable to use it.

I have what I think is a pretty common computer for these days.  A quad core system with 8 GB of memory running Win 7 64 bit and a OEM video card.  With that desktop running I also stream live baseball video from MLB.com.

Nice set up Philly! It's good to break from the norm every now and then, eh?

Thank you Xiandi.

Not that I don't like doing Suites for Themes but it is hard sometimes to work in the things that you may have on your desktop because you don't want to destract or take away from the overall look and feel of the Theme that the communities skinners have work so hard on.

Like the idea, definitely, although a bit too much for me... nothing wrong, just doesn't really fit my personal prefs is all.  Heh... after I had finished going through and closing all the gadgets I didn't have any use for (I'm in Seattle, so no need to hear about the weather forecast anywhere else; a bunch of sunshines next to one rainy cloud is depressing) I was left with like two gadgets running... so maybe not my thing.  Gadgets, ObjectDock, Rainlendar... all that stuff SEEMS really cool to me, and I keep telling myself I'm going to integrate them... but still haven't worked out my pending "master selection."  But a good idea, and one Ill probably use for helping with my organization of things when I do get around to it.  One last thing... those stats you mentioned for what you think the average computer user is runnin nowadays, IMO are a bit on the high side.  Sure, average if you JUST bought a new computer, but I work with lots of computers from all age groups out there, and QUAD-core is more like DUAL-core still... it hasnt been long enough really for anybody other than say, serious gamers/developers or people who just purchased new systems, which makes it a small percentage.  Definitely same goes for that steep 8 GB memory guess.  I just upgraded to 5 gigs, have a AMD Athlon Dual Core X2 6000+ processor, and 1gb memory Geforce 9400GT, and believe it or not, I have the highest specs of all but one of my acquaintances.  Granted none of them game, but all are proficient with comps... and some may see some drops in performance with all the gadgets running.

Whew, thats all... I promise.  Bottom line: wicked awesome suite, kept it simple with high degree of customize-ability. MAY be a little ahead of its time, but will definitely find its place with upper-mid to higher spec systems.  Worked fine on my system.  Good job man!

djME the only thing that I would point out that the Suite is just an example of what you can do with your desktop.  We will all have very different thoughts as to what is a good or usable desktop based upon our own needs, desires and likes.
