Nice try...but Hannukah has eight days (not counting the center candle...the Shamash). What you have portrayed is a Kwanza object. Also, the candles could use some work. I want to encourage, not disparage, and to say thank you for trying to right the massive imbalance towards xmas.

Very nice but isn't it spelt 'Channukah'?

Dr J. Not been jewish I an unfamiliar with their symbols and while browsing thru the net for Menorahs I came across 2 styles (7 candles and 9 candles) I didn't know what the difference was.

Alucardigan, Im not really sure of the correct spelling of the word as it is also explain on a website.
So to help clear up some of the confusion we would like to present a number of the different spellings one might encounter.

Chanuka
Chanukah
Chanukkah
Channukah
Hanukah
Hannukah
Hanukkah
Hanuka
Hanukka
Hanaka
Haneka
Hanika
Khanukkah
While in the United States it is most common to use the spelling "CHANUKAH," rest assured that they are all the same celebration.

Either way...English letters only approximate Hebrew letters phonetically. So, whichever way doesn't matter. The "ch" is not the ch (as in 'church') but the ch in clearing ones throat (Ashkenazi prononciation) the 'Ha' sound (Separdic) is the more accurate (historically).
