The preview looks GREAT, too bad I have to wait until I get home to get it.   Will get back to you after I buy it, but it certainly looks awesome!

OK, was able to finally buy & try it...first-rate job, as usual Extremely polished and easy on the eyes, plus great colors. Definitely worth buying and will be in use on my desktop for quite awhile.

Looking good Essorant! Excellent mixture of traditional concepts and new ideas, imo. Looks great with Buuf icons too!

Your high standards show through in your work. Always detailed, clean, no errors, etc. Thanks for that!

It is amazing to see your creativity and the funcionality of your skins. I blow me u at every new skin of yours. Phenomenal skin, it worth every peny.

Come on, people, this guy already contributed with hundreds of excellent skins, it is time to recognize his wonderful work. It is the same of a MacDonald´s snak.

Nice skin, well worth the money. I would echo Frogboy's comments above about the startbutton, a Vista-ish one would be nice. I am also finding that the included start button is a bit bigger than the taskbar when docked to the top of the screen (green-substyle). It seems to overlap by a px or two. It looks fine when its at the bottom.

Other suggestions:
1. More colours! Black, Orange and Navy-Blue would be cool.
2. Shadows

Thanks for the comments people.

The start button - yes I agree - next time it will be more Vista. The overlap you can see is the Start button 'glow' which is used for the bevelling when you have a side taskbar. It works for 3 out of 4 positions, but at the top it overlaps the 'resize' bar.

More colours? - well, it does re-colour using the "change skin colour" option pretty well - it gives you unlimited colours really! I made the decision to do specific sub-skin colours to make it easier to just quickly pick one (I have green on my home PC and yellow on my work PC at this moment). Feel free to re-colour as much as you like.

Shadows, I'm not sure about. I did consider them, but in the end decided not to. It makes the window borders wider and I wasn't sure how that minimal left-hand edge would look. Sorry about that!

But!

Here's an update. As promised, you can download some extras for the skin from my website - FREE. In addition to the recoloured Khado icon packages there is a matching Bootskin and LogonStudio skin. Here's a link to download them:

Nuage Extras

Enjoy!

made startmenu compact

Could you possibly refresh my memory on how to do that? Is it done through SkinStudio..if so, what size should be input? Thanks!

Also, to Essorant...this is a wonderful skin, very polished and easy on the eyes, definitely an everyday skin! Thanks so much for doing this!

Ive looked at, I think, all of your work within past few months and this looks to be the best so far imo.

Nicely done. Also, I'll have to agree with Frogboy on the START dealy.

Looks nice. Another buy before you try skin to nickle and dime me.
I have 4-6 skins that are really nice from some great authors, but they add up to more than the cost of windowblinds. Most of your skins are REALLY great essorant, but since you start charging for the latter ones, I would imagine your user/fan base shrinks since they cant use your material anymore without giving you and Stardock more money. I miss the days when you put your work out here at Wincustomize because you enjoyed it, not to make money from it.

I expect all the artist camps to come out and say they should get something for all their hard work. Recognition isn't enough anymore. From a consumer point of view, $5-10 for a skin breaks down to %25 - %50 percent on top of the cost of the program itself to run it.

Again, I really enjoy your work here. But to see all my favorite old time authors go for the buy before you try takes away from the enjoyment of it. Now I just have to wait for new authors to pick up the reigns and keep the fire burning. They are the ones now who are doing it for the enjoyment.
