Wow, you're so sensitive or maybe your nose is a little too brown, chill out, dude. I was not bashing his work, I like his work.
Well, you could have said you did not care for Avanti personally, that would have been better, but what I found rude was the "Avanti looks blah.". After all the hard work that went into this, absolutely no one wants to hear that their best effort looks "blah". Constructive criticism would have been much better. Now concerning your comment about my "nose being a little too brown" .... Enough said, please drop the subject and as John said, keep it friendly.

I love Avanti; I just can't afford it right now. But that is OK, because it will be around and as soon as I am back on my feet, I will not mind buying it. I like all of your work, vStyler. You are very talented and your work very usable.

Okay, when I first saw this skin over at Maxstyles I thought along similar lines as x3lumin8x. I thought it was kind of, for lack of a better word, plain when compared to vStyler's other work, and I've been a fan of vStyler since the RacerX skin. The more I looked at Avanti, however, the more it drew me in. I finally decided to take a chance and spend the money on it. I'm really glad I did. VStyler has put out some excellent work, and I think this is one of his best. It's cool. It's calming. It's very usable. It's pretty to look at. The more I use it, the more I like it. Maybe he's found a way to put subliminal messages in his skins. Excellent work vStyler. This was $4.95 well spent. Thanks.

Well, I must say everyone needs to kickback. The point of the coomments is for people to comment on the skin. Good or bad comments of types should be left. How can you expect John to get a true understanding about how his fans, patrons and/or what not feel about his work. I believe John has enough confidence in himself and his talent to not let a comment "you" may call rude, bother him or affect his self esteem. If someone calls the skin "blah" this lets the artist knows he has an unhappy customer. You say Well, you could have said you did not care for Avanti personally
but isn't that hiding the persons true feeling about the skin and wouldn't that in turn mislead John into think that everyone is happy. I think both positive and negative comments of all sort should be left "as long as it's clean" I bet he had the balls to say what many are a afraid to say to many skinners. Now this doesn't mean we should bash, but this is not bashing when you look at the amount of experience and talent this skinner has and John has a long and postive standing in this community. I'm sure he can handle this... by the way John, nice work on the skin, you obviously did a lot of work considering the fact that when a Vista skin is completely skinned, it is a lot of work. (I have always said the one great thing about vStylers's skins is that you know they are complete) Though I have to stay definitly not my flavor. too retro and boxxi for my taste (speaking of Boxxi, sure do miss him putting put a WB skin every other day). Well...naturally, I’m somewhat biased with this skin.....I’ve loved it since day one......and had a great time watching it evolve.....thanks for letting me look over your shoulder John......superlative work.... .... I think this comment from alscwj sums Avanti up very well...
