you know, now that I'm seeing this finished, I'm getting the impression you got inspiration from an Energizer battery. Am I right?
The color stripes are growing on me too. Great work!

If more than one file or folder is highlighted in explorer (ctrl/left click) the title of the second is highlighted blue (correct) but the first becomes grey (incorrect?).

No - that is correct explorer behaviour - the explorer selection bar has three states - unselected (clear), selected/hover (grey), and active/selected hover.
For example if you shift-select a group of files in explorer, they will be the 'selected' (grey) state, but the one you selected on last in the group will be 'active' (blue). Now, if you hover over another unselected item it will highlight as grey, and if you hover over any of the ones you already selected they will highlight as blue!
I hope that's clear enough... ![]()

nice job but on Windows 7 when clicking all programs the highlight color clashes with the white text and makes it unreadable.

RedBuzzard - could you send me a screenshot? Email to tim '@' essorant.com.
MikeO - noted - I'll try and get that fixed.
Expect an update once these bugs are fixed.

Ok. The 'places drop-shadow' and the 'all programs highlight' problems are fixed. I'll issue the update for these two bugs straight away.
(*Update uploaded*)
I just need to see that 'small window icons' issue, which I'll need a screenshot for.
Tim.

As you can see on the picture below there is something wrong with the stripe there.
I hope that can be fixed, GREAT SKIN by the way. It made me buy in a second.
