WORKAROUND FOR THE PING COMMAND
***NOTE: REQUIRES WMI*** This object utilizes WMI to ping a remote machine, ip address or web domain. ex. milksama-vista (machine) 192.168.1.1 (ip) www.stardock.com (web domain) Click on the object to update the destination to be pinged. If the WMI service is not running or otherwise corrupt, the object will throw an error-- clicking it will bring you to the Microsoft page for troubleshooting problems with WMI. |
